I am absolutely completely thrilled with my recent experience at Bike Farm and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for a new or used bike. I had had my commuter bike stolen (used but very nice Specialized Hybrid), and was looking to replace it with something similar. I arrived at Bike Farm, and Lex looked through their broad selection of bikes and helped me find a used one exactly like what I was looking for within about 20 minutes. They quoted me a price that was exactly in the range I was hoping to spend, but the bike needed to fixed up before I could take it. They told me to give them a couple of days, but called me the very next morning and told me it was ready to go. I had assumed I'd be without bike for a week or more, but because of the quick and helpful service at Bike Farm, I was only without a bike for a day.Added bonus: After riding it once, I realized the tire pressure was a little low, but when filling the tires accidentally popped one of the tubes. I brought it back to Bike Farm as they had told me I had some services covered for a year after buying my bike (but I fully expected to pay for the materials). Instead, they within minutes replaced it and didn't charge me a dime. I was not expecting that at all!Thank you Bike Farm for turning replacing a stolen bicycle into a really memorable and wonderful experience.

What a cool place with great people! I didn’t end up buying anything, but that didn’t matter. The guys walked me through all kinds of options, helped me size up every seat, and suggested so many to test drive (new and used) with ZERO pressure to pull the trigger on a purchase. I will be returning soon for the bike I fell in love with, but wanted to give them a shout out for providing such great customer service even for a low-budget gal like myself.They have a regular rotating stock of used bikes too! If they don’t have something the one time you go, keep checking back.

Bike Farm is my place to go. I have purchased new and used bikes and the experience has been 5/5 every time. Staff is friendly, attentive, helpful, and always on point.Sales floor staff is very concern about your type of riding and your needs and will work with you until they find what you were looking for and on your price range! There is always a great and big selection of used and new bikes, and sales floor people are specialized and ride themselves, so they know what you need! Plus, you can try the bike before purchasing, which for me is a must.Mechanics are overly professional, I always take my bikes there for any need I have. If something unexpected comes up while they are repairing the bike, they will let you know before they proceed. Always on time and they would walk you through the repairs when you pick up the bike.You can tell they all love their work and what they do. Great people and great service. Won't change Bike Farm for anyhing else.

I really liked supporting this place, but after my last two service experiences, I’ll not be returning. My old road bike was assessed for a $100 ‘Old Major Tune Up’. It’s definitely an older bike but I’ve seen a lot of great work there and felt they would do a decent job. For my 1st Bike Farm repair, I was quoted $50 so for $100– I figured I’d be getting a pretty stellar set up.I went to pick up my bike and noticed that it still had a lot of grime and dirt and even cobwebs under my seat! Furthermore, the repair was not consistent with the labor description. I’m not sure anything else was actually repaired on my bike except for my chain. I felt like my first $50 repair was actually better than this one!I called to speak with management about my service discrepancies. They were kind and receptive to the feedback and offered to reach out and verify the labor with the person that was assigned my bike. They called me back only to dismiss my assessment and confirm the itemized labor I’d received. They extended an invite to revisit them saying they could ‘give my bike another wash if it needs that.’ I was very underwhelmed at the lack of accountability and would have preferred a $100 refund for my over quoted and under serviced bike.To make matters worse, just last night — 4 days after pick up, my front tire deflated due to it being over aired! I have not even been able to enjoy one ride since servicing my bike, but will now need to put in even more labor myself. The guys are nice enough that I’m sure they would probably fix it if I took it by today, but it’s just not worth my investment and I’ve lost faith in their process.This is now the 2ND time I’ve had a trash, overvalued repair experience with Bike Farm and absolutely the very last. I’ll be visiting The Peddler or Tsunami Bikes moving forward.Didn’t we almost have it all, Bike Farm! ✌🏾

They didn't have the part I needed, but--even better!--they were able to fix the broken one from my bike, for less than the cost of a new part. Reusing the part made me feel good about being less wasteful! The guys in the service area are super friendly and helpful every time I've been there. They clearly just want to see everyone happy on bikes. And there's a TON of inventory available in the shop.

Awesome bike shop. Whether you want a budget friendly bike or a fancier ride, I'd recommend Bike Farm.Brent was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He respected my budget and found bikes that fit my needs. He also showed me how to remove the front wheel before putting it into my car so I was able to put it back together without any issues.Friendly and courteous staff that doesn't push you for the sale and a wide selection of bikes. I am a beginner bike rider, and went to Bike Farm with a recommendation from my sister to buy a commuter bike.Anna, the associate that helped me, was very patient with me and answered all my questions as best she could. When she didn't know an answer, she called out to the many other knowledgeable workers there.Willie, with all of his biking expertise, helped me choose a bike, and gave me tips on how to handle hills, how to find cycling groups if I wanted to, taught me how to properly load a bike into the car. Everyone was super helpful.The shopping experience was very relaxing. They let me ride 6 or 7 different bikes and allowed me to ride them multiple times. They also listened to me when I said that I had an issue with one of the shifters. I thought it was a problem with my riding technique, but turns out the chain was a bit stretched at that point. At no point did I feel pressured to buy a specific bike or more expensive bike.Overall, it was a pleasant 1.5 hours that resulted in a purchase that I feel strongly and comfortable about. I would recommend people check out bike farm if they're looking for an awesome bike shop. They also sell longboards and breathy attire, which I thought was neat.

I've been here twice, when arriving in ATX to get my first commuter and again when leaving for Chicago because I needed a more winterizable bike.All of the staff were lovely at all times I've visited and super, super helpful. Initially when I decided to buy a new bike I was filled with a lot of anxiety and questions about what kind of bike would be best for me. I only had a vague idea of what I needed in a bike, and was so used to shops not having anything in my size. All of that anxiety disappeared when I met Willie and was greeted as soon as I walked up. Willie knew exactly what to ask and had all the knowledge we needed to narrow down the variety they had available to find exactly the kind of bike I needed. He made sure it was a good fit not only for my body but also for my lifestyle and made sure I was absolutely comfortable with what I found. I will 100% shop here again. We showed up 10 mins to close on Saturday(unknowingly because their hours are not right on Apple Maps) and we purchased two bikes at super good prices! I ended up having to bring my bike back to exchange today since the frame was one size too small and they had no problem whatsoever! They didn’t have a size bigger in that specific style put together yet so they went in their shop and built it for me while I waited. Also purchased a cute little cow print helmet for our little boy and some water bottles and holders for them. Everyone was really nice!

If I could give these guys 100 stars I would. There customer service is excellent, the mechanics are amazing and they always have local events going on. I traded my hard tail in to get my first full suspension mountain bike and got more than I expected as a trade in. This is place to go if you want top notch service..Other bike shops I have been to, I either had to wait several days just to get an appointment or to get parts in..ridiculous.. Not these guys in and out in less than an hour for whatever I need. Don’t waste your time with other shops go here!

Best bike shop in Austin hands down. I have purchased two bikes from this shop and have had a really great experience each time. I now come here for all my maintenance/upgrades because they are always fair and honest. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to get into any kind of biking. They have a great selection and make you feel like family. EDIT: After looking at other reviews I felt it important to note that they moved to a new location off Burnet and now store basically everything inside. I liked the shop before they moved, but I will say the new location is a lot nicer for sure.

I have bought 3 bikes from them now. I am definitely lacking in my bike mechanic skills and they have been super helpful everytime I show up with questions. For example, the other day, I brought my road bike in because the front derailur would not shift. Instead of seeing an opportunity to sell me some new components and charge me for labor, they identified the issue (dirt clogged front derailur), cleaned it to where it worked again and didn't charge me for it. I'm sold on these guys, they have earned my loyalty.

Good deals and good selection. Bikes are stored outside in the elements though. I bought a "new" bike that had basically been sitting outside for 3 months, and I had to replace the brake pads, cables and housing, and rebuild the bottom bracket to get it into riding condition. It has been a while since I've had a bike and I'll be the first to admit that I was going in fairly blind. I was a little nervous about all of the different styles, gears, chains, brakes, sizes and finding the right one for me. We were greeted by Lex and he explained what to look for when buying a bike. I've had it with these guys! Came here regularly, really tried to develop a relationship, to support what looks like a cool neighborhood bike shop. Dropped quite a bit of money on purchases and repairs. For all that, I didn't want any special treatment, but thought that basic honesty I've deserved. Yesterday I came because I felt a slight hop on the rear wheel of a bike. Asked them to true it; owner suggested that I leave both wheels. Today I came to pick them up. I asked straight away whether they both needed truing. The mechanic responded that only one needed it. I was still charged for two, because that's how many I had left; never mind that the owner suggested that I do. I won't be coming here anymore; and I suggest that you don't either.

Worst place ever, I went there to get my bike fixed because my chain kept popping off, they said I needed a new gear. But when they switched it out and returned it to me it still didn't work. Then the told me that I needed a different type of chain ring and wouldn't switch it with the bad one they put on or give my money back. I later called them because I realized they switched out my chain they said it was because my other one was getting old even though it worked just fine. They been charged me 25 dollars for the chain that I didn't ask for!!! DO NOT GO THERE! They care about money more than their costumers!

These guys really care about the customer. After being turned down by 2 different bike shops previously for truing my bicycle tire, Mike at bike farm worked some magic and fixed it . I was told by the previous bike shops that it wasn't fixable and I would have to buy a new rim which ranged from $45-$85. Bike farm saved me money today and expressed excellent customer service and support. I had to drive from Kyle as well and it was totally worth it. Thanks guys!
